I've been a bit unmotivated to post or comment on LJ over the last week or so. So I suppose I have a lot to say about fandom since it's been so long. Haven't watched the Comic Relief stuff yet but will soon. I've seen all the clips and pics on my flist and it looks brilliant.

Another week gone and I'm no closer to any life goals. Not so surprising, but oh well, life goes on. I think I'm getting sick which is a total bummer because I'm supposed to be going out of town at the end of this next week and I really don't want to be sick for that. There's been a lot going on in my life over the last week. Starting on Tuesday of last week I was picked to be a juror on a criminal case. I got to witness first hand the Arizona judicial system and it was quite interesting to be at the courthouse everyday and be around judges and lawyers and bailiffs and such. So I've heard that he's out of surgery and that it went well but reading about David having to sit out Hamlet is so sad. "It is hugely disappointing for me to have to miss these performances. Ah, wonderful Saturday. Weekends are good...My week has been, well, a bit blah. I didn't feel great and then one of my co-workers got let go. Doesn't do much for the morale when you know the belt tightening has started, makes you think that you could be next at pretty much any time. But so far the job is still plugging away. Seriously, I cannot get anywhere on LJ or YouTube. I attribute this to David's announcement at the NTA's last evening. There is simply no other explanation. The same happened to me yesterday afternoon when I came home and read the news. I couldn't get anywhere else to watch the actual videos or read the BBC articles...all screeched to a halt.
